Ever-so-easy Fruitcake

Ingredients:
2 1/2  cups  unsifted flour
1  teaspoon  baking soda
2    eggs, slightly beaten
28  ounces  mincemeat, ready-to-use
14  ounces  sweetened condensed milk
2  cups  candied fruit
1  cup  walnuts, coarsely chopped

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

2. Generously grease and flour a 9 or 10 inch tube pan. Sift together flour and baking soda; set aside.

3. In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients; blend in dry ingredients. Pour into prepared pan.

4. Bake 1 hour and 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes. Turn out of pan. Cool completely. Glaze and garnish as desired.

To store cake, cool thoroughly; wrap well in aluminum foil and refrigerate or freeze.
