Fresh Peach Chiffon Pie

Ingredients:

---Corn flake crust---
1  cup  cornflake crumbs
1/4  cup  sugar
1/3  cup  margarine, melted

---Filling---
3/4  cup  sugar
1 1/2  cups  fresh peaches, peeled
1  package  unflavored gelatin
1/4  cup  cold water
1/2  cup  hot water
1  tablespoon  lemon juice
  dash  salt
1/2  cup  whipping cream, whipped

Directions:
1. Corn flake crust: Butter a 9-inch pie pan generously. In a small bowl, combine corn flakes, sugar and margarine; mix thoroughly. Press firmly into prepared pan.

2. Filling: In a large bowl, combine sugar and peaches. Set aside 30 minutes. In a small bowl, soften gelatin in cold water. Dissolve in hot water. Cool gelatin completely, and add to sugar-peach mixture along with lemon juice and salt. Chill until partially set. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into prepared crust. Chill 2 to 3 hours before serving. Keep leftover pie refrigerated.
