German Cream Cake

Butter 3
Cups
Sugar 6
Eggs 1
cup
Sour cream 3
Cups
Flour 1/4
Teaspoon
Baking Powder 1 1/2
Teaspoons
Vanilla
Directions:
Cream the butter and blend in the sugar. Add the eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition. Blend in sour cream. Sift the flour with baking powder, and add to first mixture in 3 or 4 parts. Add vanilla, blend well. Bake at 350 degrees Farenheit for 1 hour and 25 minutes or until the cake tests done. Remove from oven, let stand 5 minutes, invert and cool. When cool wrap in saran wrap or foil and leave for 24 hours at room temperature.
