Shortening 1

Honey,
strained
1/2
teaspoon
Salt 1
Egg,
beaten
1/2
cup
Milk,
sour

cups
Flour 1
teaspoon
Baking soda 1/2
teaspoon
Cinnamon
Directions:
Cream shortening. Add honey and egg. Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Add alternately with milk to first mixture. Mix thoroughly. Pour into shallow, well-oiled pan. Bake in moderate oven (375 F) 50 minutes.
