Ice Cream Pie

Ingredients: 1
cup
milk
-- (or vanilla) 1
pint
strawberry ice cream 1
baked 9-inch pie shell or 1
package
strawberry instant pudding
graham cracker crust
Directions:
Combine milk and ice cream in mixing bowl. Blend until smooth. Add
pudding mix and beat slowly with egg beater just until well mixed, about 1
minute. Pour immediately into pie crust. Chill until set - about 1 hour.
Makes 6-8 servings.
VARIATIONS There are really a lot of ways to change this simple recipe.
Substitute different flavors of ice cream and puddings, for a completely
different pie! We've tried these at our house: Coffee ice cream/Vanilla
pudding Vanilla ice cream/Butterscotch pudding Vanilla ice cream/pistachio
pudding Chocolate ice cream/vanilla pudding Vanilla ice cream/chocolate
pudding You can also dress up this pie by topping with whipped cream or
Cool Whip and appropriate garnishes: fruits, chocolate shavings, chocolate
chips, etc.
