Irresistible Brownies

Ingredients: 3/4
c
(1 1/2 sticks) butter 2
c
Sugar 1 1/2
c
All-purpose flour 1/2
c
Nestle cocoa 1/2
ts
Baking powder 1/4
ts
Salt 4
Eggs 2
ts
Vanilla extract
One 12-oz pkg Nestle Toll
House semi-sweet chocolate
Morsels, divided 1/2
c
Nuts, chopped, optional
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. In 2 1/2 to 3 qt saucepan over low heat, melt
butter. Remove from heat. Add sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder,
salt, eggs and vanilla. Stir with spoon until batter is well blended
and smooth. Stir in 1 1/2 cups Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate
morsels and nuts if desired. Spread in 13x9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle
with remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until
set. Cool on wire rack. Cut into 2-inch squares. Makes about 24
brownies.
