Make Your Own Fruit Potpourri At Home

Directions:
1. Cut fruit (lemons, oranges, limes, kiwi, apples) into 1/8-inch to 1/4-inch slices.

2. Place four slices on three layers of paper towel and cover with 2 layers of paper towels.

3. Place in the microwave. Using 50 percent power, microwave for 30 seconds. Check the fruit to ensure that it is not scorching or burning and that the bottom paper towels are not getting soggy and wet. Change paper towels if necessary.

4. Continue to microwave at 50 percent power in 30-second intervals until fruit slices are dry. Turn fruit over after each minute.

5. Use your dried fruit slices in potpourri or as a decoration for craft projects.
