Ingredients: 1/2
cup
Butter 1/2
cup
Shortening (such as,
Crisco)

cup
Sugar 1 1/2
cups
Sifted flour 1/2
teaspoon
Baking soda 1/2
teaspoon
Baking powder 1/2
cup
Chopped pecans
Sugar
Directions:
Cream butter and shortening. Gradually add sugar. Cream again.
Sift dry ingredients together. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
Stir in nuts. Chill 1/2 hour. Shape into 1" balls and place 2" apart on greased cookie sheet. Flatten balls to 1/3" thick with glass dipped in sugar.
Bake at 350 F for 12-15 minutes.
