Scrumptious Butterscotch Bars
Butter or margarine
Graham cracker crumbs
Evaporated milk (13oz)
In top of double boiler, melt morsels and butter, stirring occasionally.
this takes about 20 min. Stir in the crumbs and nuts. divide the mixture
Press half onto bottom of well greased 9 x 13" pan. In a large bowl, beat
cream cheese until light. Gradually add codensed milk, then vanilla and
egg. Beat well.
Pour over crumb mixture. Smooth until even. sprinkle top with remaining
crumb mixtue. Pres lightly with palm of hand. Bake 350 for 25-30 min. ou
until tested done. Cool to room temp. on wire rack. Chill before cutting.
