Tandoori Chicken (Atkins)

Ingredients:
5  pounds  chicken, cut into 8 pieces
4  cloves  garlic
1    ginger, 2-inch piece
2    bay leaves
2  teaspoons  chili powder
1  teaspoon  sea salt
2  teaspoons  turmeric
1  teaspoon  ground coriander
1/2  teaspoon  cumin
1/2  teaspoon  ground cinnamon
1/2  teaspoon  ground cloves
1/2  cup  olive oil
1 1/2  cups  sour cream
2    lemons, juice of

Directions:
Place chicken in a covered glass baking dish large enough for pieces to lie side by side. Place next 10 ingredients in a blender and grind to a paste. Combine paste with sour cream and lemon juice. Dip each piece of chicken into the mixture and coat it completely. Return chicken to baking dish. Place in refrigerator to marinate overnight. Bake chicken covered for 45 minutes at 350F.
