Cracklin' Fudgies

Ingredients:
7  ounces  semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
1  ounce  unsweetened chocolate, chopped
3  tablespoons  butter or margarine, room temperature
1  cup  sugar
3  large  eggs, room temperature
3/4  cup  all-purpose flour
1/2  teaspoon  baking powder
1  cup  chocolate chips
3/4  cup  walnuts, chopped
1  teaspoon  vanilla
1/4  teaspoon  salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper (no need to grease pan). Melt both chocolates and the butter in top of double boiler, stirring until melted. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Cream sugar and eggs in medium sized bowl until thick and creamy. Mix in vanilla and melted chocolate. Add the flour, baking powder and salt; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonsful about 1 1/2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes or until tops crackel and look shiny. Cool 3 to 5 minutes. Remove to racks; cool completely. Store in airtight container or they may be frozen. Yield: approximately 36 cookies.
