Semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/2
c
Magarine or butter 1 2/3
c
Sugar 3
Eggs 1

Vanilla 1/4
c
Flour 1/2
ts
Baking powder 1/2
ts
Salt 1
c
Chopped nuts (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F and grease a 13x9x2 baking pan. Melt chocolate
and margarine (or butter) in a double boiler or heavy sauce pan over
low heat. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Beat sugar, eggs
and vanilla together, then add melted chocolate. Sift flour, baking
powder and salt together. Add sifted ingredients and stir to mix.
Stir in nuts. Pour into pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until center
is set. Cool completely before cutting.
