shortening 1
cup
brown sugar 1/2
cup
granulated sugar 2
teaspoons
vanilla 2
eggs 2 1/4
cups
sifted flour 1
teaspoon
salt 1
teaspoon
baking soda 1 1/2
cups
M&M's plain candy
Directions:
Blend shortening and sugars. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Sift remaining
dry ingredients together. Add to the sugar and eggs; mix well. Stir in
1/2 cup candies and reserve remaining candies for decorating the top.
Drop from teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate top of
cookies with remaining candies. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or
until golden brown. Yields 6 dozen.
